Monday 7th December, 10:30am - 11:30am
2020 has been a turbulent year. Covid-19 has exposed and compounded inequalities across the population, and the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement has brought systemic racism to the forefront of society, in particular to the inclusion agenda.
There is acute underrepresentation of Black people; both in leadership positions of corporates and across the business and entrepreneurial landscape. Hear from a number of different leaders in their field who will share their experiences of establishing successful businesses and supporting Black entrepreneurs to break through systemic barriers.
The broadcast will include practical discussions around the barriers faced by Black owned businesses and entrepreneurs, the importance of taking tangible action against all forms of racism, and will also explore how individuals and organisations can start on their journey to become actively anti-racist.
